Words from Our Pastor - Week of October 11, 2026

---

John pens a letter to his friend Gaius, expressing in his salutation the desire that Gaius prospers in all things and be in good health, just as his soul prospers.

There is something so powerful in these words of encouragement that reminds the church today that God desires for us to live healthy, whole, and flourishing lives.

If John desired this for his friend, how much more does God desire wholeness for His own! While we rightly emphasize the spiritual, we must also recognize that God cares about every aspect of our well-being. His blessings extend to the mind, body, and soul.

However, we cannot expect God to do all the work while we neglect our own responsibility. We, too, must be intentional about the choices we make and the care we give ourselves.

Let's commit to nurturing our spiritual lives while being good stewards of our mental, physical, and emotional well-being. It's time to pursue wholeness in every area of our lives!

Yours in Christ,
